Beschreibung

Ein Zoomobjektiv von Panasonic für die Pen-Kameras (MFT), das Objektiv wurde 2012 vorgestellt.

Vergleichbar einem 24-70 mm-Objektiv im Kleinbildformat ist es ein Vertreter der lichtstarken Standard-Zoom-Objektive.

"Im Schnitt erreicht das Lumix-Objektiv an der GH3 1.819 Linien und liegt damit zwar auf keinem absoluten Spitzenplatz, angesichts der hohen Lichtstärke und der hervorragenden Ausstattung ist das Lumix 12 - 35mm/2,8-Objektiv dennoch ein lupenreiner Kauftipp ohne gravierende Abstriche! Haptisch überzeugt es durch einen sauber laufenden Tubus und vor allem durch den in Metall gefertigten Scharfstellring.
Neben dem Bajonettanschluss ist dann allerdings kein weiteres Metall verbaut. Auch Skalen fehlen, da der Einstellring ohne Anschlag elektronisch gesteuert wird. Den manuellen Fokus setzt die GH3 allerdings nach dem Abschalten oder beim Wecken aus dem Sleepmodus auf unendlich zurück.
Der Fokussierring hat allerdings genau den richtigen Widerstand, ist nicht zu leicht- noch zu schwergängig. Da macht es Spass, auch die Fokushilfen der Lumix GH3 auszuloten, etwa um mit Schärfespeicherung via halb gedrücktem Auslöser am Einstellring zu drehen und sofort im 10x-Zoom das Livebild zu kontrollieren und nachzujustieren.
Begrüssenswert wäre angesichts der 7 sicherlich eine noch höhere Blendenlamellenzahl gewesen - 8 oder 9 sind beispielsweise in Canons Oberklasse Standard, um etwa Spitzlichter in der Unschärfe beim Abblenden der Kreisform anzunähern. Aber 7 sind nicht schlecht und idR 1 bis 2 mehr als in der Einsteigerklasse.
Rund 900 Euro Anschaffungspreis sind natürlich eine Hausnummer; demgegenüber steht dann allerdings auch eine entsprechende Leistung, denn man bekommt in praktisch allen Bildbereichen schon mit der Offenblende ausreichend Zeichnung angeliefert, selbst im Randbreich des Weitwinkels. Damit erweitert das Dreifach-Zoom den flexiblen Einsatzbereich auch in Lowlight und bietet mehr Freistellpotenzial gegenüber den normalerweise lichtschwächeren Standardzooms. Ein Zoom mit Weitwinkel und Telebereich bleibt immer auch ein Auflösungs-Kompromiss, so wie er sich hier jedoch zeigt, ist er absolut praxistauglich!
Das mit Streulichtblende, Objektivköcher und Schutzkappen ausgestattete Lumix 12-35mm/2,8 werten wir mit vollen 5 Sternen. Der ausgewogene Allrounder ergattert wegen seiner Praxistauglichkeit ohne Frage einen Traumflieger-Kauftipp!"
